Volleyball Recap: Springfield Southeast Comes Up Short

Springfield Southeast lost against Jacksonville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Crimsons.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-10.

Presly Werts paced Springfield Southeast's offense, picking up ten kills. Werts got some help from Parker Maxey and her 17 assists.

Springfield Southeast has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season. As for Jacksonville, they pushed their record up to 12-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Springfield Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Lanphier on the 9th. As for Jacksonville, they will challenge Quincy Notre Dame at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
