Volleyball Recap: Hastings Continues Home Dominance on Friday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dobbs Ferry, Hastings was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Irvington Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

While Hastings might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Irvington scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Hastings pushed their record up to 7-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Irvington, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Hastings didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Westlake on the 21st. Irvington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
