Baseball Game Preview: Red Land Patriots vs. Bishop McDevitt Crusaders

The Red Land Patriots will square off against the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Red Land has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Red Land came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-3 to Hershey.

Red Land saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Elder, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Cameron Sutton also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt hadn't done well against Gettysburg recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Crusaders came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 10-6.

Easton Comp was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Calvin Snyder was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bishop McDevitt's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. As for Red Land, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
