Basketball Game Preview: Tri-Central Trojans vs. Madison-Grant Argylls + How To Watch

The Tri-Central Trojans just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Madison-Grant Argylls at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-Central will be strutting in after a victory while Madison-Grant will be coming in after a loss.

Tri-Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Wes-Del for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-22 win. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Tri-Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Creason led the charge by shooting 46% from the field en route to 18 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. Creason is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 46% in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Claire Conrad, who went 6-for-7 on her way to 15 points and three steals.

Tri-Central was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've passed the ball that well.

Meanwhile, Madison-Grant was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Oak Hill 65-13. The Argylls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.

Delaney Pavey was Madison-Grant's leading scorer, having posted five points. Abby Winchester held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Madison-Grant's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Tri-Central, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Tri-Central took their victory against Madison-Grant when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 55-31 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Argylls turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
