Centennial is 8-1 against La Veta since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Centennial Rams will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the La Veta Redhawks at 1:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Centennial is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Trinidad on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Centennial lost 63-40 to Trinidad.

Meanwhile, La Veta came up short against Centennial on Saturday and fell 52-43. The defeat continues a trend for the Redhawks in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost five in a row.

Centennial will need focus on slowing down Tristan Musgrave, one of several La Veta players who made an impact when they last played. He went 5 of 8 on his way to 10 points along with six rebounds and six blocks. Those six blocks gave Musgrave a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lukas Ozzello, who posted 17 points and five boards.

La Veta's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Centennial, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

Centennial beat La Veta 52-43 in their previous matchup on Saturday. Will Centennial repeat their success, or does La Veta have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
