Softball Recap: Omro Comes Up Short

Omro made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North Fond du Lac, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Foxes fell just short of the Orioles by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Foxes haven't had much luck with the Orioles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Kira Button was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Omro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for North Fond du Lac, their win ended an eight-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13.

Coming up, Omro will challenge Lomira at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. North Fond du Lac does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
