Basketball Game Preview: Republic County Buffaloes vs. Ellsworth Bearcats

The Republic County Buffaloes will head out on the road to challenge the Ellsworth Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Republic County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Republic County took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 45-41 win over Lyons.

Meanwhile, Ellsworth was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 41-37 to Larned.

Republic County picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-13. As for Ellsworth, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-1.

Republic County was dealt a bruising 62-35 loss at the hands of Ellsworth in their previous meeting back in January. Can Republic County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
