Baseball Recap: Rosman Triumphs

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Rosman ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Murphy Bulldogs 8-6. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

Rosman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Slade Riddle, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those two runs gave Riddle a new career-high. Mason Bell also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Rosman's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Murphy, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Rosman will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
