Softball Recap: Kaimuki Bulldogs vs. Moanalua Menehune

Kaimuki was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-1 to the Moanalua Menehune. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Menehune this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-1 on March 4th.

Kaimuki saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Monmon Aikau, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Kaimuki's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Moanalua, their record now sits at 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kaimuki will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kalani at 3:00 p.m. on April 10. As for Moanalua, they will host Castle at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
