Volleyball Game Preview: Felton Grove Galaxy vs. Holly Springs Golden Hawks + How To Watch

The Felton Grove Galaxy are taking a road trip to challenge the Holly Springs Golden Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Felton Grove turned things around against Cary on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Imps, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Galaxy have posted since August 25th.

Felton Grove took Cary into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 14-25, 21-25, 25-17, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Holly Springs got the win against Sanderson on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The Golden Hawks haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Holly Springs took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-12.

Felton Grove better keep an eye on Ashley Diebler. She was instrumental in Holly Springs' win, getting 13 assists and three aces.

Felton Grove's record now sits at 5-14. As for Holly Springs, their record is now 14-6.
