Softball Recap: East Central Drops Season-High Score on Lake Central

East Central scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 17-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Central Indians. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Taylor Sommer led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Emily Klem also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

East Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lake Central, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

East Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 16-13 victory against Jennings County on the 12th. As for Lake Central, they have also already played their next game, a 7-0 win against Pendleton Heights on the 12th.
