Soccer Game Preview: Tulelake vs. Fall River

The Tulelake Honkers will challenge the Fall River Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Tulelake is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Quincy get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but Tulelake sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Meanwhile, Fall River got the win against Paradise Adventist Academy on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. Give Fall River's defense some credit: that's the team's 12th straight shutout.

They hit Paradise Adventist Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabriel Jimenez, Raul Iniguez, and Ulisses Alvarez.

Fall River's win bumped their record up to 23-1. As for Tulelake, their victory bumped their record up to 20-5-1.

Tulelake might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Fall River when the teams last played on October 2nd. Can the Honkers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
