Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alvin). They never let the Humble Wildcats onto the board and left with a 3-0 win on Saturday. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Alvin hit Humble with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Yesika Garcia, Camie Peters, and Kendyll Jackson.

Alvin's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-2. As for Humble, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alvin will venture away from home to square off against Shadow Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alvin's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Shadow Creek's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Humble, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Porter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Humble's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
