Baseball Recap: North Royalton Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

North Royalton entered their tilt with Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Royals 3-1. That's two games straight that the Bears have won by exactly two runs.

Kosta Salvo looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cam Saul, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Horiba, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
