Basketball Recap: Nwanmachideluuli Odeluga's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Munster over Hobart

Munster was the 51-18 winner over Hobart when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brickies on Tuesday.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nwanmachideluuli Odeluga, who posted four points in addition to nine boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Igboamaka Odeluga, who earned four points and five rebounds.

It was another big night for Kurah Krucina, who shot 4-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double with 20 points and 13 boards for Hobart. The dominant performance also gave Krucina a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Another player making a difference was Player #12, who had five points and 11 rebounds.

Munster now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hobart, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Munster will welcome Lake Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hobart has already played their next matchup (against Calumet New Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
