Basketball Recap: Montesano Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Montesano won against Hoquiam last Wednesday with 54 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Montesano Bulldogs strolled past the Rochester Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 54-35. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emmitt Mancuso, who posted eight points.

Montesano's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Rochester, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Montesano didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-36 defeat against R.A. Long on the 13th. Rochester has also already played their next contest, a 58-47 win against Centralia on the 13th.
