Basketball Recap: Brush Has No Trouble Against Hawken

Brush posted their biggest win since December 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hawken Hawks with a sharp 56-36 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Arcs.

Brush pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Hawken, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Brush and Hawken should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Brush will face off against Andrews Osborne Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday up 302 places (180 vs. 482). Similarly, Hawken (ranked 135th) will meet Orange (ranked 513th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
