Soccer Game Preview: Sheboygan Christian vs. Random Lake

The Sheboygan Christian Eagles will take on the Random Lake Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sheboygan Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Random Lake better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Sheboygan Christian's game last Tuesday is any indication, that's when Sheboygan Christian really gets things going. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand Sheboygan Falls a 3-0 shutout. Sheboygan Christian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.

Daniel Alsum and Conor Deroos scored all three of Sheboygan Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 43 goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in August, Random Lake was forced to settle for a draw two weeks ago. They and Roncalli finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Random Lake's record moves to 4-9-2. As for Sheboygan Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3-3.

Everything went Sheboygan Christian's way against Random Lake in their previous matchup back in September, as Sheboygan Christian made off with a 9-1 win. In that match, the Eagles amassed a halftime lead of 5-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
