Volleyball Game Preview: Oswego East Wolves vs. Hinsdale South Hornets

The Oswego East Wolves will take on the Hinsdale South Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Oswego East is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Oswego East came up short against Plainfield North and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11.

Oswego East's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Nathan Thach, who had 12 digs and one assist, and Max Coleman, who had eight assists.

Meanwhile, Hinsdale South didn't have quite enough to beat Lyons on Wednesday and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost five in a row.

Hinsdale South started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-16, 25-22.

Hinsdale South's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Oswego East, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
