Volleyball Recap: Hinkley Takes a Loss

Hinkley lost against Conifer back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Thunder came up short against the Lobos, falling 3-0. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-17.

Daniela Medina paced Hinkley's offense, picking up five kills. Medina got some help from Gisele Chavez and her six assists.

Conifer's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keira Tracy, who had 12 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Tracy has posted since back in November of 2024.

Hinkley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Conifer, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Hinkley will face off against Alameda at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Conifer has already played their next matchup (against Skyline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
