Softball Recap: Monrovia Comes Up Short

Monrovia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the San Dimas Saints. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Monrovia saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Myers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Monrovia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for San Dimas, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5-1.

Monrovia has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Covina on the 25th. As for San Dimas, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Diamond Ranch on the 25th.
