Mt. Hope faced La Salle Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Huskies won by a goal and slipped past the Rams 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Mt. Hope sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Thea Jackson and Sara Nencka scored all three of Mt. Hope's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

Mt. Hope's victory bumped their record up to 9-2-2. As for La Salle Academy, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Hope is set to challenge their familiar foe North Kingstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, La Salle Academy will face off against rival Chariho at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
