Basketball Game Preview: Garfield Bulldogs vs. Central Valley Bears

Having just played yesterday, the Garfield Bulldogs will jump right back in to play the Central Valley Bears at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Garfield comes in on four and Central Valley on 25.

Garfield is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Stanwood 52-30. The Bulldogs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 1st.

Meanwhile, Central Valley faced Kennewick in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Central Valley came out on top against Kennewick by a score of 45-37. The 45-point effort marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Central Valley's win bumped their record up to 25-0. As for Garfield, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-9.
