Baseball Game Preview: Woodland Warriors vs. Seneca Fighting Irish

Woodland is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Seneca a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Woodland Warriors will host the Seneca Fighting Irish at 4:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Woodland came up short against Putnam County and fell 10-5.

Meanwhile, Seneca can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over Somonauk.

Seneca's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Woodland might still be hurting after the 13-1 loss they got from Seneca in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
