Football Recap: Mounds Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mounds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Kellyville Ponies and fell 68-0. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ponies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Mounds' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kellyville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Mounds is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Okemah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kellyville, they will face off against Henryetta at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
