Volleyball Recap: Tahlequah Takes a Loss

Tahlequah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.

Tahlequah's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Lincoln Christian, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9.

Looking ahead, Tahlequah will face off against Claremore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln Christian, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Westmoore on the 6th.
