Newberry and Saluda are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Newberry is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Swansea just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Saluda waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Patriots 8-1. Roman Lopez was a massive factor in the win as he booted in four goals all by himself.

Newberry's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Saluda, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Newberry beat Saluda 3-1 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
