Volleyball Recap: Weiss Find Success

Weiss's tournament run continued when they took on University on Thursday. The Wolves walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Weiss was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-11.

Ashley Go was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and five aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024. Carrington Nichols also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Weiss was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Weiss' win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for University, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coming up, Weiss has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome McCallum at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for University, they will take on Madison in a tournament on Thursday.
