La Salle came into Saturday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Archbishop McNicholas Rockets on Saturday. Joe Harmon had the honor of scoring the game-winner for La Salle.

La Salle picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-10-1. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Salle will square off against Archbishop Moeller at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Archbishop Moeller's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Archbishop McNicholas, they will host Chaminade Julienne Catholic at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
