Baseball Recap: Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Western Sierra Collegiate Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Colfax Falcons on Tuesday, falling 18-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2019.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for Colfax, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colfax, they will face off against Ripon Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
