Football Game Preview: Julian vs. Foothills Christian

Foothills Christian will challenge Julian on the road at 6:00 PM on Friday. Foothills Christian know how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Julian like a good challenge.

Foothills Christian put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They blew past Calvin Christian 42-16. No one put up better numbers for Foothills Christian than junior Tony Mroz, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 120 yards and 4 touchdowns. Mroz has now scored at least one touchdown in the past six games.

Meanwhile, Julian received a tough blow as they fell 14-34 to San Diego Jewish Academy. This makes it the second loss in a row for Julian.

Foothills Christian's win lifted them to 6-2 while Julian's defeat dropped them down to 3-6. Julian's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Foothills Christian defensive front that amassed six sacks against Calvin Christian, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
