Grandview Heights won the last time they faced Bexley and things went their way on Friday too. The Bobcats walked away with a 6-1 win over the Lions.

Mitchell Hahn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Thomas Fisher, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Gambone, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Grandview Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Bexley, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grandview Heights will head out to face off against Hamilton Township at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Bexley, they will venture away from home to take on Hayes at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
