Soccer Recap: Roswell Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

Roswell barely beat Johns Creek the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Roswell Hornets were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over the Johns Creek Gladiators on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight games. As for Johns Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roswell will venture away from home to face off against Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roswell knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Milton likes a good challenge. As for Johns Creek, they are taking a road trip to challenge Chattahoochee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattahoochee is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
