Basketball Recap: Monday's Win Is Middlesex's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Middlesex won the last time they faced Metuchen and things went their way on Monday too. The Middlesex Bluejays came out on top against the Metuchen Bulldogs by a score of 51-44.

Despite the loss, Metuchen still got an impressive performance from Jason Woods, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Osborn-Jones, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Middlesex is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Metuchen, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Calvary Christian the next time they take the court. Middlesex will head out to face Calvary Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Metuchen will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
