Baseball Recap: Licking Valley Comes Up Short

Licking Valley suffered their biggest defeat since April 12th on Saturday. They lost 9-1 to the Indian Creek Redskins. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Licking Valley's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Indian Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Licking Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Indian Creek, they will venture away from home to take on St. Clairsville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
