Baseball Preview: Hancock County Hornets vs. Daviess County Panthers

Hancock County is 2-8 against Daviess County since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Hornets will head out to face off against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with nine defeats in a row, Hancock County turned things around against Tell City on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Marksmen a 2-0 shutout. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted since March 27th.
