            Softball Preview: Millis Mohawks vs. Bellingham Blackhawks        
        
		
        
        
            Millis and Bellingham are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Mohawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blackhawks  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  match.
Millis came up short against  Hopedale on Friday, falling  10-3. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Mohawks in their meetings with the Blue Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

 Millis saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Keira Davis, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  RBI. Davis is  crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   snagged at least one every time she's  taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Bellingham came up short against Dedham on Friday and fell  5-2.
  Lilly Proler was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with one  triple and one  run.
 Bellingham dropped their record down to 0-2 with the  loss, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Millis, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
 Millis took their  win against Bellingham  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  13-1 score. Do  the Mohawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blackhawks turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
