They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 15-3 walloping at the hands of the Brainerd Warriors. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Alexandria in their matchups with Brainerd: they've now lost three in a row.
Alexandria saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Goetsch, who went 2-for-2 with an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Klimek, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Alexandria's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Brainerd, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
