Football Recap: Benjamin Franklin Comes Up Short

Benjamin Franklin extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They took a blow against the Digital Harbor Rams, falling 52-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bayhawks of the 40-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Digital Harbor, the victory got them back to even at 2-2. Considering their offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Nakari McCory-Saunders was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Coming up, Benjamin Franklin will look to defend their home field on Friday against Edmondson-Westside at 3:45 p.m. The matchup will give the Bayhawks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Digital Harbor, they will venture away from home to face off against Patterson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
