The Valencia Tigers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. Their tough 41-17 defeat to Kennedy might stick with them for a while. Among those leading the charge was Devin Almazan, who threw for 207 yards and four touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Izaiah Murphy, who picked up 53 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Valencia's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.0 points per game. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Valencia will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pacifica at 7:00 p.m. As for Kennedy, they will head out on the road to face off against Crean Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
