Recap: Marshall Rams vs. Lee Volunteers
The Marshall Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 74-61 to Lee. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Tuesday (55), Marshall still had to take the loss.
Several Rams players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aric Goodman, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jason Vidaurri, who scored 13 points.
Marshall has been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Lee, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Madison the next time they take the court. Marshall will host Madison at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lee will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
