Softball Recap: Triton Comes Up Short

Triton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the North Miami Warriors. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 21-1 to the Warriors when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kaitlyn Frick was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Triton's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-6. As for North Miami, their record is now 3-5.

Coming up, Triton will take on Bremen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for North Miami, they will square off against Rochester at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
