After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oak Grove, Mount Tabor was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Atkins Camels as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Camels: they've now won four in a row.

Mount Tabor walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-8, 25-19.

Peyton Connolley paced Mount Tabor's offense, picking up ten kills. Connolley got some help from Madison Starkey and her 29 assists. Claire Ide controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Mount Tabor's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Atkins, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
