Softball Recap: St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins vs. Campolindo Cougars

St. Patrick-St. Vincent extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping their season record down to 1-16 in the process. They came up short against the Campolindo Cougars, falling 14-8. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 19-3 to the Cougars when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Christina Thomsen made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Daisha Connors was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Looking ahead, St. Patrick-St. Vincent will take on Pinole Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Campolindo, they will face off against Berean Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
