Baseball Game Preview: Fort Knox Eagles vs. Valley Vikings

Fort Knox hasn't had much luck against Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Fort Knox challenged Shawnee on Monday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 6-6 tie.

Meanwhile, Valley strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Moore by a score of 10-6. While the Vikings didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 5-0. With that draw, Fort Knox's record moves to 3-3-1.

Fort Knox couldn't quite finish off Valley when the teams last played back in April of 2023 and fell 7-5. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
