Dulaney faced Catonsville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Lions' pitcher stepped up to hand the Comets a 13-0 shutout. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Kimani Dennis was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Brynn Townsend was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

The win was the third in a row for Dulaney, bringing their record up to 16-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Catonsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

As of now, neither Dulaney nor the Comets have any future games scheduled.
