Southampton Academy won the last time they faced Kenston Forest and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Southampton Academy Raiders came out on top against the Kenston Forest Kavaliers by a score of 5-2. The win was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on three straight.

Grant Applewhite was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Ayden Darden was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Southampton Academy's record is now 3-1. As for Kenston Forest, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southampton Academy will square off against Tidewater Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Southampton Academy is facing Tidewater Academy at the right time seeing as Tidewater Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kenston Forest, they will take on Brunswick Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kenston Forest is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.
