Manitowoc Lutheran waltzed into their match on Saturday with 13 straight wins... but they left with 14. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Florence Bobcats.

Marissa Mehlhorn paced Manitowoc Lutheran's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mehlhorn got some help from Makiah Krause and her 13 assists. Mehlhorn was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Manitowoc Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 29-8. As for Florence, the loss snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 27-13 record.

Coincidentally, Manitowoc Lutheran and Florence will both be playing Sheboygan Christian the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will head out to face the Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Lancers will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
