Cato-Meridian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past the Mt. Markham Mustangs with points to spare, taking the game 20-6. This was payback for the Blue Devils, who suffered a 21-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cato-Meridian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mt. Markham, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cato-Meridian will face off against rival Herkimer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mt. Markham is set to square off against their familiar foe Sandy Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give the Mustangs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
