Volleyball Recap: Marion Center Takes a Loss

Marion Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bellefonte Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Marion Center now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Bellefonte, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-2 record this season.

Marion Center will head out on the road to square off against Homer-Center at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bellefonte, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Penn Cambria on the 13th.
